In my reading, I ran across this statement: “We need leaders who are willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure that we hand it off to the next generation in better shape than when we found it.” I wonder what the “it” was they were referring to.
Is it the environment? I think we’ve made great strides to do just that. But it still amazes me how expensive some of these simple solutions actually are.
Maybe they were talking about finances. Well, many are more in debt today than ever before. The student loan debt is now over $1.4 trillion! Whoops, must not have bee finances.
Maybe it was the world, as we know it. Maybe not.
All of us have a responsibility to hand it over to the next generation in better shape than when we received it from the previous generation. What are you doing to make that happen?
